Radon gas exposure is the leading cause of lung cancer for nonsmokers in the U.S., and your home could have dangerous radon levels without you even noticing. Radon cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted, so the only way to detect its presence is through radon testing. Precision Air provides professional radon testing, radon inspections, and radon mitigation services for homes and HUD multi-family properties. If high radon levels are discovered in your home, we can restore health and safety to your indoor air quality by installing one of our state-of-the-art radon mitigation systems. High humidity issues in a house I've just purchased. 1st floor HVAC unit (2 ton gas/elec package unit for ~1000sqft) doesn't run long enough to remove humidity from house. Its smells and feels humid/muggy. The thermostat reports humidity in the low to high 70's on humid days, seen as high as low/mid 80's last week. Humidity upstairs stays in the low to mid 60 since the upstairs unit (2.5ton heatpump for ~1400sqft) runs longer. I've purchased a 70 pint dehumidifier and I can drive the humidity down with that, but the tank fills up typically twice a day and shuts off and the humidity starts climbing once its off. For example last night the humidity was 63% downstairs, I emptied the dehumidifier and left it on max all night, woke up this AM with the unit full of water and the first floor at 70%. Emptied the tank this AM and left it on max again. Right now its down to high 50's downstairs and low 60's upstairs (my HVAC units don't run much during the day). The unit will probably fill up and shut off pretty soon and be high by this afternoon. Last week (before I had the dehumidifier), low 80%'s was not uncommon. I'm looking for a solution to the problem that doesn't require me to need to have a portable dehumidifier in the house. I don't have a practical way to setup a permanent drain for it, so I have to use the tank and I don't want to be emptying it twice a day. Whether that solution is a permanent dehumidifier installed with a dedicated outside drain installed in the crawl space (all 1st floor ductwork is down there) or modifying my existing 2 ton unit...I'm just looking for some kind of options to rein in the humidity. And I'm hoping by controlling the first floor, it'll solve the 2nd floor problem. Thanks!

I have a warehouse that I have created a 40Lx40Wx20H area outside of the main office area that I want to enclose and A/C. I am interested in some type of wall unit or best possible options to cool this area. Please call if interested. Thank you
Brightwood Ave in Nashville
I have a Daikin ac/heater unit in a small detached studio behind my house. 2 days ago my wife told me it wasn't cooling the room. I looked at the outside heat pump outside section and noticed the coils were very dirty. I cleaned and rinsed the coils and thought that I fixed the problem. It seemed like it was cooling again, but by that time it was late evening and not the hot part of the day. I checked again yesterday morning and it seemed fine, but by noon the room was hot again.

On May 25th, 2018 a service person came to repair my air conditioning unit. It has broken again- the fan in the unit is not spinning. Considering the work was only done a few weeks ago, I would expect that this would still be under warranty. Please let me know when this can be resolved. Thank you, Anna
